Two thumbs up!

On New Years day Brandon and I went to see Marley and Me and I have been thinking about it ever since. It was such a good movie! I had tears streaming down my cheeks at parts and then laughing my head off at other parts. It stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. As a newly married couple the Grogans decided to adopt a cute yellow Labrador. Soon the puppy grows to be a 100 pound ball of energy that turns their house into a disaster zone. What I really loved about this movie is how it portrays lifes ups and downs. It's not just a show about an unruly dog but a show about marriage and balancing family life and your career...something I think we can all relate to. Brandon was the one to suggesst going to this movie...I think he is trying to convince me to get a dog. And it was a very good attempt.

How could you NOT be convinced?! That is one thing I look forward to the most...although, I understand it would be hard when living in an apartment...having to have the dog on a leash everytime you take them out to go pee...ugh. But even with that thought, it's still very tempting for me. It might also motivate me to get out of my place somedays and get some fresh air!! ;) I want to see this movie pretty badly- I'm glad you liked it!

We loved the movie so much, we've actually already seen it twice in the theater. I have to admit our puppy seems like a great little puppy compared to Marley, and after I got home form the movie I just had to snuggle him. I was hesitant to get a puppy at this stage in our lives. I wanted to wait until we had kids to help take care of the puppy (Ha! Ha!), and I didn't want to be tied down before we had kids, but if I had it to do all over I would have gotten the puppy before I ever got pregnant. I think I'm in for it now with a puppy, and a baby due in 10 weeks! Hope you had a great Christmas and New Years!

I've been wanting to see this movie so badly! But when I found out it was about a dog that was bad it has made me hesitant to take Trevor. I want a puppy SO much! Unfortunately it seems like Trev will NEVER give in! (How did I marry him not knowing he wasn't an animal/pet lover?) But maybe it will help him realize how much a dog brings into a family?... I don't know but I'm afraid I'm going to have to wait until we have kids that are BEGGING for a dog before it ever happens...Until then, maybe I'll go see it with a friend. :)
